Name:- James Martin

Born and bred in Somerset West, Cape Town, South Africa, Playing my golf at the well established 'Erinvale Golf Estate' from the tender age of 10. I have decided to move back to my roots in the United Kingdom, Bringing along my Wife Michele, my Son Michael (a keen golfer at the age of 2) and my daughter Jamie-Lee (also a keen Golfer at the age of 1 - I like to think.)

I matriculated from high school in 2005, and was immediatly offered a scholarship to play College Golf for 'Clayton State University' in Atlata, USA, I took the opportuniy with open arms and thoroughly enjoyed my time in America. On my return to South Africa, I decided to make a career in Golf, I joined the teaching staff at the 'Erinvale' pro-shop, and completed my PGA apprenticeship under the Director of Golf 'Johan Piek.' 

Ihave recently joined 'On Par' as 'Head Teaching Proffesional' after much 'Nagging' from Graham, he does tend to get his own way eventually, I will be coaching using the new and excellently 'Rebuilt' facilities provided here at the Golf Centre. My aim is to improve the overall teaching side of the business, with various 'Teaching' techniques that i have learnt over the past few years, both in the States and South Africa, as well as using the latest 'State of the Art Computer Swing Analysis' with the ultimate goal to improving your Game.
